Customer E from Ghana placed an order for a 1.5-ton ice machine. Due to the nature of the refrigerant—Freon—being classified as a hazardous good, it could not be shipped. In response, we provided a solution with the ice machine operating without Freon. As it was their first order with us, the customer also faced the challenge of not having a local freight forwarder, which made logistics and customs clearance more complex.
