The 119.8-meter offshore bulk carrier "Jinfenghai 1" built by a shipyard in Anhui Province was successfully launched and sailed into the Yangtze River to start its sea trial. The ship is equipped with two Zichai LB8250 diesel engines as the main power.
The "Jinfenghai 1" is suitable for domestic offshore and middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, and can carry a variety of bulk cargoes such as dry bulk cargo, general cargo, packaged cargo, etc.
As a meritorious model for Yangtze River, offshore and ocean shipping, the LB8250 has a single-machine power of 1470kW/750r/min, strong power, good performance and excellent quality.

There are 8 12,500-ton bulk carriers in this series, all of which use Zichai 6N330-EW diesel engines as main engines, with a power of 2574kW and a speed of 620r/min. "Xin Haichao" is the last ship built in this batch. With the support of Zichai engines, it has sufficient power and good performance.
It is reported that the "New Haichao" has a total length of 133.9 meters, a beam of 21 meters, a depth of 9.72 meters, a designed draft of 7.22 meters, and a speed of 11.6 knots. It adopts internationally advanced and mature design, centralized control operating system, high efficiency and good safety performance. The ship is mainly used for ordinary transportation of coal, iron ore, cement clinker, steel, etc.
